BOOS shouted at the Santa Barbara School Board after deciding to reassign San Marcos High school Principal Ed Behrens to a teaching post. Many unanswered questions. Deliberations took over 3 hrs. Behrens said "nothing I have done warrants my removal. " The decision by the school board was not unanimous. Board member Laura Capps voted against the decision and was in favor of Behrens retaining his post. Some members of the public were outraged and hollered "recall" to the board majority as they left the meeting in the Marjorie Luke Theater (due to the crowd size)
